WTEC Energy Joins Non-Profit PPE4HEROES

PPE4HEROES Press Release: 04/07/2020

Hasbrouck Heights, NJ: WTEC Energy announced today it has joined a nonprofit COVID-19 organization, PPE4HEROES, to provide personal protective equipment (PPE) for front line healthcare workers in the United States.

Brian Singh, Founder and CEO of WTEC Energy, decided to join PPE4HEROES as a way to provide an ethical and efficient supply base of PPE for our U.S. healthcare workers. Mr. Singh explains, “I was deeply touched by the pleas for help by the medical community and was especially moved by Andrew Cuomo’s speech, which transcended politics and brought my wife to tears. These healthcare workers are risking their own lives because of this critical shortage in basic medical PPE. WTEC Energy is leveraging our supply chain, manufacturing relationships, and procurement personnel in China to secure large supplies of PPE from certified manufacturers. PPE4HEROES will source PPE quickly, efficiently, with due regard for manufacturing standards and quality, while avoiding the politicking and profiteering, which is putting our healthcare workers at risk.”

The PPE4HEROES fundraising goal is $2M. PPE4HEROES will use 100% of donations to:

  • Supply PPE directly to hospitals and healthcare workers fighting COVID-19
  • Procure, distribute, and deliver PPE for frontline COVID-19 healthcare workers wherever there is a need across the United States, but the urgent need is currently in New York and New Jersey
