Since 2002, we have designed, engineered and manufactured innovative wire and cable products for the energy market. As a renewable market leader, it was a natural progression to begin servicing electric utility customers as well.

TS Conductor

TS (Total Solution) Conductor is a new patented composite core conductor that can be used in both distribution and transmission applications. WTEC Energy has entered into an exclusive partnership to be the official stranding and insulating company for TS Conductor in the Americas.

Total Solution (TS) Conductor’s patented technology protects the carbon composite core from damage and corrosion, thereby eliminating all safety, reliability, ampacity, and longevity issues associated with previous conductors.

TS Conductor provides a safe, cost-effective solution that improves ampacity, increases reliability and promotes global sustainability.

We are an experienced storm partner and well-prepared to offer storm services and support during a significant weather event or emergency.

Collapsible Steel Reel Exchange Program

In keeping with our commitment to sustainability and cost savings, we designed our own collapsible steel reels. Our collapsible steel reels are recyclable and environmentally friendly, reducing our carbon footprint associated with reel packaging and transportation.

Our steel reel exchange program provides a sustainable and cost-effective solution for eliminating the cumbersome task of discarding of reels and managing partial reels. As part of our exchange program, customers exchange partial reels for full reels on a routine schedule, minimizing partial reels, scrap and lost reels. On a set schedule, WTEC Energy delivers full reels and picks the customer’s partial reels. The partial reels are dispositioned, and the customer receives a credit for the recycled or scrapped material.

Scrap/Recycling Program

We offer wire and cable scrap management and recycling for bare and insulated products, which minimizes the impact on the environment while providing value back to our customers.
